Nanaimo Skate Parks
Skateboarding is alive and well in the City of Nanaimo, with skate shops and parks aplenty, and lots of concrete and railings and stuff.
New to Nanaimo? This is a LONG city. Skating from North Nanaimo to Downtown (or vice versa) is EPIC.
There're at least two decent skate parks in Nanaimo:

- Nanaimo Bowl Skatepark
- Close to Downtown, between the train tracks and Bowen Park.
- Nanaimo Pioneer Skatepark
- North Nanaimo — on the other side of Canadian Tire from the Woodgrove Centre mall.
Isn't there another one close to Country Club?
Please help us to develop this page. We don't know much about skateboarding in Nanaimo, and we need input. A review of the different parks would be awesome. (You'd get credit.) Or, we'd love a list or a map or something, showing cool little spots to go to with a board.
